HOW TO BE AN ALLY

In the workshop, the participants playfully develop strategies for mutual support in the hitherto hierarchical theater structures.

  • How do I defend myself against sexist attacks?

  • How can I support colleagues who are being attacked in a racist manner?

  • How can I voice criticism without jeopardizing my career?

The aim of the workshop is to unite theater professionals and enable new forms of community in the theater business. The workshop is aimed at theater makers who want to campaign for a change in the way theater is treated. With an intersectional approach, the positions from which it is spoken are reflected. The willingness to deal with one's own privileges is a prerequisite for participation.
